Spring Soccer 2019

The 10 week Spring Season begins April 8 and ends June 23.

There will be no soccer over Easter April 19/20/21/22 or over the May long weekend May 18/19/20

Volunteers are needed.  CRYSA, like all amateur sport in our community, is completely driven by the time given by our committed volunteers.  Please consider volunteering – the kids need you!

Tots and U6 require field facilitators, equipment set-up and return
U7/8 require field facilitators, equipment set-up and return, orange slices
U9/10 require Coaches, Assistant Coaches, team managers, orange slices
U11/12, U13/14 and U15/18 require Coaches, Assistant coaches, team managers


Field Facilitators

You are responsible for running a station/games each week with the support of the Division Lead, who will provide you with the Active Start curriculum.  U6 facilitators will also support “free” gameplay for the second half of the division times. U7/8 facilitators will also have a weekday group practice.

Criminal Record checks will be required. 

Coaches

·       Work with the divisional lead to fulfill curriculum with weekend games and weekly practices.

·       Criminal Record checks will be required

Assistant Coach

·       Work alongside coach, be able to step in to coach if needed.

·       Criminal Record checks will be required

Team Manager

·       Responsible for jerseys, pinnies, equipment, handing out photos,

Equipment Set-up

·       This is for Tots, U6 and U7/8.  Equipment for games need to be taken to the filed from lockers at clubhouse (balls, pugs, signs).  Safety signs put up and taken down. 

Game Schedules: Game times and location to be announced ASAP

Tots and U6 will play on Sundays and will not have weekday practices.  Parent Participation is Required for this division.

U7/8, U9/10, U11/12/13 will play on Sundays and will have a weekday practice set by their coach.  If you have a child in this division please sign-up as a coach/assistant coach or on field facilitator as we need parent volunteers to ensure these programs can be run successfully.

U14/18 will play on Sundays in a jamboree style play each weekend.  Teams will be made each weekend for play.  There will not be any weekday practice.  We will need parents to organize games/teams each weekend.  Low numbers and lack of coaches may result in this division being cancelled.  

Equipment:  cleats, shinpads and socks are required.  T-shirt/jersey will be provided.

Registration after February 28 will be accepted only if space allows.  
Register before February 28 and receive $20 off your fees and be placed on a team!

Any players registered after after Feb 28 will be placed on a team only if space allows.  

If paying online with a credit card your registration will be processed immediately.  If paying in person there will be days set up in February and March to make your payments at the clubhouse.  All payments must be received by April 6.  Players will not be allowed on the field until fees are paid.

Refund Policy:  An administration fee of $25 will be deducted from refunds requested before April 15, 2018. No refunds will be issued after April 15, 2018.

Payment dates and times will be posted on our website as well as emailed out to registered players.


Goalkeeper Training

Goalkeeper Training Spring 2019

 

This program is open to players registered in U9/10, U11/12 and U13/14 for the spring season.  It will be led by CRYSA Coaches and local VIPL Goalkeepers.  Program will focus on physical literacy, basic handling, shot stopping and footwork. This is an extra program in addition to club (house) soccer.  To register for Goalkeeper training you must also be registered for CRYSA Spring Club soccer.


You must be registered for Spring Club Soccer to qualify for this program.

 

Format:

  • 8 sessions
  • Dates TBD
  • Time and Location TBD
  • Rain or shine!  Please prepare for weather, bring shin guards, appropriate soccer footwear & a water bottle
  • Bring GK gloves if possible (CRYSA clubhouse does not have gloves)
  • Updates on practice changes will be communicated via email
  • ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER (SEE BELOW)

Fees: $35 to register per player
